 Located in at Pemuteran on the north west coast of Bali, Matahari Beach Resort & Spa was built in traditional Balinese style. For the construction of the resort, which is harmoniously integrated into the beautiful countryside, only local materials such as sandstone, marble, palemanan, wood and bamboo were used. Local craftsmen and artists have created a unique resort from this special combination of materials. Many affectionate details in the stone-carvings are waiting to be discovered.Our guests have the choice between our Garden View, Panorama View, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows. All our bungalows consist of two units and have beautiful marble terraces. They differ in location, size and equipment. They all have a two-winged handcarved Balinese door through which you enter the bed-living-room. This room is decorated in warm colours with elegant and richly ornamented wooden furniture, a king-size Balinese bed or two separate beds, and a parquet floor. An individually adjustable remote controlled air-conditioning, an IDD telephone, a minibar and a safe are discreetly integrated. Each unit is equipped with a marble bathroom and a small tropical back garden with a shower shaped like a water spouting Balinese dragon. Here our guests can take a shower under the open sky - an unforgettable experience! The Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows are additionally equipped with double wash-basins and bidets. The Super Deluxe Bungalow offers another extra: a private pavilion in the middle of a lotus pond. The ground plans on the left give you a small impression of the division of our bungalows.  Set on the shore of a lagoon-like bay in the northwestern coast of Bali neighboring the Bali Barat National Park and the famous diving site of Menjangan Island, the resort is built to simulate a Balinese village with 30 terraced patio rooms and 24 walled courtyard villas. All villas feature their own hot spring tub and six of them have private natural stone dip pool. Its location preserves an ideal setting for diving, snorkeling, canoeing, sea-biking and an easy exploration to discover the flora and fauna of the Bali Barat National Park.Patio Rooms 30 Patio Rooms are landscaped facing lush greenery of a tropical garden. The villa's courtyard is walled with its own tropical garden and traditional "bale bengong" gazebo for relaxing. A natural stone tub is featured as part of the gazebo area for a private natural hot spring bathing. Courtyard Villa With Pool The villa bedroom is detailed with traditional ambiences - cool marble floor, spacious thatched-roof ceiling and natural wooden furniture. The bathroom features wooden sink table and open shower walled by natural stone. A small wooden door is uniquely attached connecting the shower ground to the courtyard garden to allow direct access from the garden to the shower. Six of the 24 courtyard villas feature their own private plunge pool built from natural blue stone.
